Your Guide to Full Moon in Taurus
The Full Moon rises at 11 degrees in Taurus November 4th, 2017 at 1:23 AM (E.T). This full moon is earthy, moist and known as the Hunter, Beaver or Frost Moon.
Taurus is an Earth sign and thus very intuitive, patient, disciplined and practical. A Taurus assesses a situation, plans, execute, then follows through. If you tend to overspend, call up your Taurus friend for some company. They’ll be the voice of reason. On the flip side, Taurus can associate gratification with the physical and can be possessive. The moon in Taurus can amplify stubbornness and laziness. Consider these as it relates to your subconscious, reactions, self-image, and self-worth.
This full moon is reminding you to focus on your money. More importantly, it's guiding you towards financial security. Are you mismanaging your money? Do you find yourself constantly paying back overdraft fees and falling into other financial traps? Getting a grip on those things is key. If you’re ready to take full control of your finances, then draw down the energy from this full moon to help guide you in the right direction. Maybe it’s time to make an appointment with a financial planner or call up your uncle who dabbles in the stock market. Or start small by reviewing your monthly expenses and assess where you could be saving more money. Separate your bills by needs and wants to make nixing expenses a bit easier.

Love yourself through nature
Taurus is ruled by Venus and Venus is associated with the urge to love another but you can also channel her energy for self-care. Run that bath water, breathe in some violets and love yourself. Eat that chocolate. Drink that wine, Dig your nails in the dirt. Talk to your plants. Bask in the things mother earth gives us, but we tend to overlook. She is relief from systematic stressors and internal turmoil. When’s the last time you looked out into the ocean with your own eyes and not through a smartphone? When’s the last time you hugged a tree? When’s the last time you screamed in the middle of an open field just to get it all out? Seriously, interacting with nature is cathartic.

Embrace your spiritual growth
The moon is sextile Neptune and calling you to let go of your ego and embrace the spiritual awakening (trine Pluto) that is happening in your life right now. Are you suddenly at ease over things that would’ve triggered you in the past? Do you just know things that you didn’t know before? You may find yourself no longer needing to partake in the material world or the expectations of others (Uranus in RX). That may no longer serve you. Your path is taking you beyond what you once thought to be true. You’re seeing more clearly these days. Neptune is in retrograde until November 22nd, so use this energy and focus on your spiritual growth. Some things you can do during this time are shadow work, spell work, meditation & yoga challenges, bible study, therapy, and educating yourself in astrology, divination, magick, etc.

Pick up when your ancestors call
So you thanked the final harvest, turned the wheel, connected to the other side and honored the dead. Now what? You must still do the work and keep that open line of communication to your ancestors, to nature, the past and YOUR HIGHER SELF! We cannot forget our story, the story of who we are and where we come from. Keep telling those stories. If generational hurts or curses are preventing you from this, don't let it. We learn from these broken ties, we mend and start again. Find that person who's the silver lining in that hurt and honor them. Draw on their strength and resilience. Put up photos, talk to them, play their favorite tunes, give them fruit, fresh water, and take care of their altar.
